New York City Health Care Professionals Association Care, Inc. (NYCHCPA) is a community of multidisciplinary health care professionals that strives to network and share resources to address healthcare disparities in underserved communities.
NYCHCPA’s aim is to focus on health prevention and evidence-based best practice management to increase better patient outcomes in vulnerable communities.
Fontaine Joseph, RRT-NPS is the Founder of NYCHCPA Care, Inc. He is a Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Pediatric Specialist and a Certified Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor with more than 15 years experience. He currently works as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at NYC Health Hospital Coney Hospital and Brookdale University Medical Center. Mr. Joseph is a CUNY graduate and holds degrees from Borough of Manhattan Community College, New City College of Technology and is an International graduate from Petit Seminaries College Saint Martial. Mr. Joseph is also Founder and CEO of Joseph Maintenance and Cleaning Services.
Karline Barthe, BSN RN, is the Co-Founder of NYCHCPA Care, Inc. Her nursing career experience spans 24 years in acute and outpatient/community health care settings. Mrs. Barthe currently is in a leadership position titled as Head Nurse Manager on a Stroke Chemotherapy and medical unit. Mrs. Barthe’s holds degrees from CUNY Medgar Evers College, CUNY School of Professional Studies and SUNY Farmingdale State University. She is currently attending graduate school in studies towards her MSN Master in Organization Leadership with advance studies in Education at CUNY SPS Graduate Center. She is Sigma Theta Tau International Nurse Leader, a past CUNY SPS Ace Scholar and Nurse Career Mentor for the CUNY Research Foundation.
